Our story
The Affordable Gourmet By Ria is a multi-cuisine restaurant that is the brainchild of Ria Repalda,
a then full-time IT consultant. Having worked in Makati for 15 years, she has always been frustrated at how gourmet food was priced ridiculously high making it hard for most people to afford. With no culinary background and sheer passion for cooking, she started an online delivery service called Affordable Gourmet in April 2018 and eventually opened a restaurant
in May 2019.

with an exceptional dining experience. From the quality of our dishes to the warmth of our hospitality, we strive to create a welcoming environment that encourages return visits.
After receiving numerous inquiries about expansion and franchising, The Affordable Gourmet by Ria Franchising Corporation was established in 2020, with TAGbyRia registered with IPOPhil. The first franchise was launched during the pandemic, adopting a kitchen-only model that offered deliveries to Quezon City and surrounding areas. In 2022, Ria seized an opportunity to relocate to a larger venue in Daang-Hari Bacoor, Cavite. Following careful consideration, she entered a joint venture agreement to manage and co-own two franchise prototypes: Fish and Fawn Restaurant, Inc., which provides casual dining and a lovely venue for intimate events, and Epicure Food Inc., its catering branch.
Since then, Fish and Fawn Restaurant Inc. has welcomed diners and hosted unforgettable events, while Epicure Food Inc. has established itself as the preferred provider for corporations and various organizations. It has gone from catering gourmet meals for small broker meetings at Arthaland Century Pacific Tower to becoming an accredited food supplier for Arthaland Properties and its subsidiaries, including Caznea Inc. and Bhavya Inc. Today, Epicure Food Inc. (DBU TAGbyRia) provides catering services for events at Sevina Park, ACPT, Arya Residences, and other locations.
The company has also made a name for itself in the maritime industry, catering to Knutsen Philippines, Nautilus Pacific Maritime Training Center, Global Gateway Crewing Services, and TMC. In 2023, Epicure became an accredited caterer for Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), providing gourmet packed meals and off-premise catering for the FIBA World Cup events.
